- navigate the pages using speech recognition software
- listen to the pages using a screen reader
We have also made the text as simple as possible to understand.

Edenbridge Town Council is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the accessibility regulations.
Compliance status
These pages have not yet been fully assessed against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard. The non-compliances we know about are listed below.
Non-accessible content
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
PDF agendas and minutes are not tagged for accessibility. This means screen reader users may not be able to navigate headings, tables and reading order within them. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.3.1 (Info and Relationships). The full content of each PDF is available as an accessible web page on this site.
Content that is not within the scope of the accessibility regulations
PDFs and other documents published before 23 September 2018 are exempt from the accessibility regulations, unless they are essential to providing a service.
Supporting documents uploaded by the council, such as plans or reports produced by other organisations, may not meet accessibility standards. If you need one of these documents in an accessible format, contact the Clerk using the details above.
What we are doing to improve accessibility
CouncilPapers reviews the accessibility of these pages regularly, and fixes problems as they are identified.
