Apologies were received, noted, and accepted form Cllrs B Cummings and J Streets.
Meeting Closed 7.31 pm.
A member of the public said they wished to speak about item 6.5 and stated that the area already suffers from flooding every year and any further development in the area would increase the flood risk.
Meeting re-opened 7.34 pm.
Resolved: the minutes of the meeting on 20 May 2024 be duly signed by the Committee Chairman as a true and accurate of the meeting pages 2023-050-01-03.
Members agreed to consider agenda item 6.5 first so that the members of the public could hear the committee's discussion..
Recommendation: Members objected to this application and commented it would cause:
- Over development in the immediate area.
- Inadequate parking.
- Flood risk.
- Restricted access.
- Loss of open space.
- Overlooking of existing properties.
