One award to consider: Edenbridge Town Council: Road Safety measure - Main Road, Hilders Lane and Hillcrest Road junction - balance £4980.57 (resolution February 2022 5.5 £10k). This award for the 40mph buffer zone at Main Road which is now completed: the surveys, road paintings and 40mph signs. However, part of the project to help with raising awareness on the approach to Edenbridge was to consider white gates, This is currently being investigated and a speed survey s being carried out to measure the effectiveness of the buffer zone (Planning & Transportation has supported this on the HIP). Are Members happy to keep the balance in CIL funds for potential additional signage/white gates improvements at the approach to Edenbridge following the review of buffer zone effectiveness and recommendations, or do they want to release the funds in to unallocated?
