5 THE PUBLIC RECREATION GROUND CHARITY - BLOSSOMS PARK (302732)

5.1 To approve the accounts for Charity no 302732; Public Recreation Ground - Blossoms Park.

The Charity end-of-year accounts 2024/25 and the Annual Report are presented for approval. The accounts recorded ‘nil’ return as all expenditure is managed through Council's I&E accounts, therefore 'nil' return.  All activity is reported through the Open Spaces Committee as managed by the Council (sole managing trustee) and registered land owner.

6 THE RECREATION GROUND CHARITY - LINGFIELD ROAD (302733)

6.1 To approve the accounts for Charity no 302733; Recreation Ground - Lingfield Road

The Charity end-of-year accounts 2024/25 and the Annual Report are presented for approval. The accounts recorded ‘nil’ return as all expenditure is managed through Council's I&E accounts, therefore 'nil' return.  All activity is reported through the Open Spaces Committee as managed by the Council (sole managing trustee) and registered land owner.

7 NORMAN FOUNDATION (307544) - TRUSTEES

7.1 To approve the accounts for Charity no 307544; The Norman Foundation (as Trustees)

The Charity end-of-year accounts 2023/24 and the Annual Report are presented for approval.
Last year's (2023/24) year-end balance was £52,167.33.

The CCLA/COIF shares value has decreased and been accounted for. 
The closing Balance as of the 31 March 2025 is £52958.07.
The Chairman of the Council, on behalf of the trustees, will sign the accounts as a true record of the Charity's financial position before submitting to the Charities Commissions.

8 EDENBRIDGE TOWN COUNCIL GRANTS FUND

 A link to the Council's grants policy is below. This year, Council has received  11 applications.
Total amount requested is £14,486.40 (Summary attached, confidential; full applications are available to view in the office or Sharepoint folder.) Total Budgeted Grant fund for 2025 is £8,000.

Members are asked to view the applications, and consider how it would like to award this year's available funds.
