Councillor Bob Todd
Cllr Bob Todd has been a resident of Edenbridge for over 35 years and was first elected to Edenbridge Town Council in 2015. With a professional background that includes 30 years as a Senior Police Officer and 15 years as a Senior Security Manager for a global company, Bob brings extensive experience in public service and leadership. He has served as Chairman of several key council committees, including Open Spaces, Planning and Transportation, and Emergency Planning. He was Chairman of the Town Council from May 2021 to May 2025 and continues to serve as the Council’s representative on both the Village Hall Management Committee and the Edenbridge Youth Forum.
Bob is also active in the wider community, having served as Chairman of Edenbridge Men’s Probus and currently acting as a Trustee of the Great Stone Bridge Trust. He is a Freeman of the City of London, a recognition of his longstanding commitment to public service. His desire to serve the community, first as a police officer and now through his role on the council, has been a constant throughout his life.
