Councillor Michael Stockdale
Councillor Michael Stockdale became a member of Edenbridge Town Council in May 2024 after his daughter, while working in Vancouver, spotted a call for volunteers on the Council’s Facebook page. A resident of Marlpit Hill since 1995, Michael has lived in the same home with his wife, raising three daughters who have since moved on. He brings a strong background in business and a practical mindset to his role, with the goal of helping the Council manage Edenbridge’s future effectively and responsibly.
Michael serves on several committees, including Planning, Forward Planning, Finance, and Personnel. He is Vice Chair of the Open Spaces Committee, sits on the Buildings and Leases
